SMU Graduate Senior Portrait Session

When it comes to senior portrait photography sessions, there’s something truly magical about working with graduates like Skylar. She’s an SMU graduate with a personality that is as lively as it gets.  This session was a blast from start to finish. 

As a senior portraits photographer in Dallas, I’m always looking for ways to create meaningful and personalized senior portraits for my clients based on their story, personality and interests. 

Skylar wanted her senior portraits to be a celebration of her accomplishments and her individuality. She chose to have her session on SMU’s beautiful campus, where she spent the past 4 years of her life. During her session, we explored the campus together and found the perfect spots to capture her personality and her love for her alma mater. 

Skylar is a HUGE Mitski fan, and she had this amazing idea to recreate one of Mitski’s album covers for her graduation photos. The challenge was exciting, and we were so thrilled with the outcome. We had such a fun time recreating the iconic album cover, capturing Skylar’s essence and capturing photos that truly reflected her personality. 

Working with Skylar was an absolute joy, and I’m so grateful to have been a part of her senior portrait experience.
